How Momapaws started.

Many years ago we decided to get a dog. That is him in the picture on the left his name is Barkley and that is where my dog obsession started.

He is such a lovely dog I enjoyed training him and teaching him to be a good boy. As he is such a fantastic dog we decided that we would like another. On my search I found a gorgeous girl in a rescue centre in Wales they had taken her off of a puppy farm where she had had a awful time. The second we met her we knew she was coming home with us. We never thought we would have a dog as good as Barkley but we did, Lola was Amazing the worlds most perfect dog.

Two great dogs so why not have just one more ........

Then Ralph came and joined us, now he is not a big dog like the other two he is a little French Bulldog and the hardest work, he has many many health problems which make him very grumpy. He has a tough time of it but we look after him as best we can and we love him to bits.

Now two massive dogs and a grumpy little one you would think that would be enough but I made the mistake of 'just looking' at the dogs in the rescue centre and saw the funniest looking British Bulldog again a ex-breeding girl so that is how Nana came to join the gang.

It was a great little pack but then very suddenly we lost Lola she had a fit and never recovered. We were and still are heartbroken by our loss. To help me cope and keep busy I started making a few doggy bits which then turned into gifts for friends and family and which has now turned into making for Everyone.

All of my items are inspired by my dogs, nature and animals and my love for them.

Since first writing this we have taken on another rescue dog, a lovely British Bulldog called Happy, he is wonderful and chilled out. If and when I go out and about selling my bits he is the dog that comes with me to help, he has a bit of a following at the dog shows.

Very sadly we lost Nana she had a stroke and just like Lola we are heartbroken and so was Happy. Seeing Happy so sad without the love of his life was awful, I then heard about a little Pug who really needed a good home. Which is how Gilmore came to live with us. Gilmore cheered Happy up no end they really and truely are the very Best of Friends.

Which is were my Pug obsession began. We have several rescues dogs and I also now Foster Pugs in need. They are just such great company when im busy in my workshop crafting.

I have also used photos of my own dogs on this Website so please do look out for them.

Thank you for taking the time to read a bit about us.
